Veterans’ High Tea

Saturday 4th July was not only a traditional celebration in the USA, it was an occasion for ESVH to rejoice at the easing of Covid lockdown.

46 special packs of delicious edibles were distributed to participants of 99/100 Group. each made up of finger sandwiches, fancy cakes, savouries, and confectionary, produced by a local company Candy Cakes of St Leonards on Sea. Not only did these complement everyday diets but it presented 'something completely different'. Responses to date indicate they were enjoyed.
