A small gathering of ESVH Veterans mustered at Alexandra Park, Hastings and observed the two minutes silence at 1100 hours. It was a glorious morning and about 50 other veterans turned out.
The Mayor of Hastings laid ESVH wreath which was annotated with WW1, WW2, and conflicts since, along with an extract of Maxwell Edmunds Poem 'Went the Day Well'
Went the Day Well?
We died and never knew
But well or ill,
Freedom, we died for you
Went the Day Well?
